For each 2 pannels Zonline installs, they donate 1 WakaWaka to the WakaWaka Foundation. In turn the Foundation ensures that these lights are sent to WarChild and ‘Foundation Meet Kate’.

WakaWaka partner Gerry van der Sluys is announced by Van Jones, top advisor to President Obama on ‘green jobs’. Gerry explains about the 1.5 billion people who live at the ‘Base of the Pyramid’ on less than $2 a day and how they will be reached with safe, sustainable and affordable solar LED light. The WakaWaka Foundation commits to distribute at least 1 million lamps in the coming years and educate an equal number of students in becoming a ‘Climate Hero’.
